The Meruqel Institute is an independent project devoted to exploring some of the oldest and most difficult questions human beings have ever asked: Why does life exist? Where did we come from? Why is there suffering? What is consciousness? Are we alone? And how much of what humanity believes about reality may still be incomplete?
At the center of the Institute is Meruqel — a philosophical worldview that examines life, creation, morality, consciousness, religion, extraterrestrial intelligence, and humanity’s place in a much larger universe.
Meruqel begins with a provocative possibility: that life on Earth was intentionally created or engineered by intelligent beings beyond humanity — beings we call the Makers. It asks what would follow if our creators were not gods, did not demand worship, did not guarantee justice, and did not place humanity at the center of existence. But the Meruqel Institute is broader than a single explanation.
Its purpose is to investigate the great mysteries surrounding life and reality with curiosity, imagination, skepticism, and intellectual openness. Areas of inquiry include consciousness and awakening, dreams, synchronicity, ancient civilizations and forgotten technologies, UFOs and UAPs, extraterrestrial intelligence, spirituality, human origins, the nature of suffering, and the limits of human understanding.
The Institute does not exist to tell people what they must believe. It exists to examine possibilities, challenge inherited assumptions, and ask whether familiar explanations are the only explanations available to us. Some ideas explored here will be philosophical. Others will draw upon science, history, archaeology, psychology, religion, and speculative thought. Not every question will have a final answer. That is part of the point.
The Meruqel Institute begins from a simple conviction: our understanding of life and reality is unfinished.
There is still far more to see.
